Job Title: Software Engineer

Job duties:

TechSource, Inc. in Sacramento, CA is seeking Software Engineer to research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

Maintain and monitor the software applications in all environments including the development, staging, and production.

Analyze bugs and prepare low-level design documents with functions, packages, and/or scripts needing modifications.

Fix bugs that may arise in UAT and/or production and application support to users.

Perform unit testing and integration testing of fixed modules and affected downstream/upstream modules.

Prepare functional, integration and system test plan documents for the bugs fixed.

Prepare build sheets and implementation plans for deploying code in higher environments, UAT, and production.

Analyze requirements and prepare technical low-level detail design documents.

Prepare code review document with the feedback from internal reviewer.

Prepare unit testing document for each test step executed.

Develop and support global front-office global counterparty risk management system, CVA (Counterparty Valuation Adjustment) Trader.

Preparation of appropriate documentation to support process compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field of study, plus 5-year of post-degree, progressively responsible in the job offered or in any related position(s).

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:

1. Maintenance, support, development of software applications.

2. Software programming tools: C++, C, Linux, Perl and Shell scripting, Pro*C, Oracle PL/SQL, and GIT.
